Who are we?
Queenstown’s Baskets of Blessing volunteer organisation provides a platform coordinating generous donations of products, time and money to deliver unexpected gift baskets and frozen meal/food packs to locals struggling from unexpected life predicaments. Those impacted range across all ages, socioeconomic groups and cultures.
Our History
Baskets of Blessing was formed in 2009 and became a Registered Charity in 2019.

Who do we support?
Recent examples of support has been extended to victims of accidents and illness including terminal illness diagnosis, house-fires, suicides, sudden death, unexpected financial challenges …. i.e. ANYONE going through unexpected, life impacting challenging times.
What is our Ethos?
Our ethos is to respond to anonymous nominations for meals/food or gift baskets
without any qualifying criteria or judgement.
How big is our organisation?
We have approximately 50 volunteers who meet to cook and prepare rescued food to turn into delicious, nutritious meals to feed our community and/or deliver each week. Once a month our volunteers meet to make beautiful gift baskets to deliver to people going through hard times to show someone cares.
