Looking to give back? Join us at our Arrowtown hub—no long-term commitment or rosters required. Whether you have one hour or four, your hands make a huge difference.
At the Hub: Mondays & Thursdays (09:30 am – 12:30 pm approx.)
Simply show up, introduce yourself, and we’ll find a job for you!
- Mondays: Our big prep day. Help us sort produce, package dry goods, or support our cooks by peeling and chopping ingredients for our bulk frozen meals.
- Thursdays: Our busiest dispatch day. Help coordinate incoming donations from the delivery truck or pack food boxes and bags for our recipients.
Become a Volunteer Driver
Help us deliver food boxes, frozen meals, and gift baskets to homes across the Queenstown district.
- The Commitment: Receive a text every Wednesday to check your availability for the following day (Thursday).
- The Schedule: Pick up from the hub between 12:00 pm and 12:45 pm. Deliveries usually take 1–2 hours.
- Sign Up: Email info@basketsofblessing.co.nz with your name, phone and preferred delivery area to be added to the weekly text list.
Location: Our Arrowtown Hub – St John’s Presbyterian Church corner of Berkshire and Durham Streets, Arrowtown, weekly on Mondays and Thursday only 9.30am to 12.30pm excluding Public holidays.
